| Tout d'abord: le GMS-742 Convertisseur MIDI/CV [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir cette image] - Citation :
- The MIDI to CV Converter module is designed to convert MIDI note commands into corresponding analog voltage level outputs to be used by devices such as voltage controlled oscillators in analog synthesizers. In addition to a changing analog voltage on one channel, the module can also supply a second analog voltage corresponding to the MIDI velocity information. This analog voltage can be used to vary the response of an envelope generator to allow the channels dynamics to be controlled by keyboard velocity information.
BASIC FUNCTIONS The GMS-742 MIDI to CV converter contains two complete converter channels, each channel capable of producing two analog outputs and two gate outputs. When a two channel mode is selected, one analog channel will produce the voltage equivalant of the input MIDI note value, one analog channel will produce the voltage equivalant of the MIDI velocity value, one gate channel will produce a gate signal for the duration of the MIDI note on to note off time, and one gate channel will produce a 5 millisecond trigger pulse. POLYPHONIC OPERATING MODES Two channel with gate and trigger Three or four channels with gate Two channels with seperate sequential MIDI channel numbers Four channels with seperate sequential MIDI channel numbers ADDITIONAL FEATURES A front panel selector allows setting the base MIDI channel on which the module listens. If the setting is not modified by system commands received on the port, the channel also serves as the default analog output channel. Depending on the selected operating mode, additional channels are assigned following the channel selected on the front panel switch. The MIDI clock on the input channel is divided internally and output on the MIDI CLOCK output jack. Need more technical info? CLICK HERE . . . - The Quad Voltage Sequencer provides a source of arbitrary voltage waveforms from panel potentiometers. In addition, the sequencer generates associated gate waveforms that can be used to trigger envelope generators or other waveshaping devices when the sequencer moves to a new position.
BASIC FUNCTIONS The GMS-760 module consists of four independent eight step sequencers that have independent shift and reset inputs. Each sequencer row also generates an independent control voltage output and gate output. Each control voltage output has a range switch that allows the user to select an output range of 0-2 VDC, 0-4 VDC, or 0-10 VDC. Each row has toggle switches at each end that control the stepping behaviour of the row. One selects whether the next step will be up, down or randomly selected. The second switch selects the behavior when the step reaches the last (or first) position in the row. NRM allows the step to procede in a circular manner from the last step to the first. REV allows the step to reverse to the previous step when the last step is reached. This allows a register to perform in a "ping-pong" fashion. The STOP position will cause the sequence to stop when the last step in the row is reached. Each step has an associated toggle switch that allows the gate output from the step to be enabled or disabled. A third FUNC position in combination with the setting on a toggle switch at the end of the row allows skipping the position, stopping the sequence on the current position, or resetting the sequence to the first step. ADDITIONAL FEATURES Internal jumpers allow selection of unipolar or bipolar voltage outputs. Another set of jumpers sets whether the voltage output will be quantized or continuous. The shift and input connectors on the panel are normalized so that a signal fed into a given input will be propagated to the following inputs. An optional MIDI interface adapter will permit outputing the sequence set on the unit as a polyphonic sequence of MIDI note commands. Need more technical info? CLICK HERE . . .
